Advocacy
Many may remember Rona Barrett as the pioneering journalist who covered the entertainment industry for decades, but she will tell you that being an advocate for seniors in their time of need is the most important work she has ever done.
As an often requested speaker, Rona shares her insights on what issues – and opportunities - must be addressed to ensure seniors can live their golden years to the fullest. In addition, she has volunteered her time to serve on a number of regional, state and national committees and organizations whose collective efforts make a positive impact on our aging population.
In her latest book, Rona Barrett’s Gray Matters, she shares many anecdotes and stories about aging. All sales proceeds from the book help support The Rona Barrett Foundation and its efforts to provide low-income seniors a bettter way of life.
Become A Volunteer
There are dozens of ways for people of all ages to volunteer. The Rona Barrett Foundation and the Golden Inn & Village are always looking for volunteers to lend their talents, time, resources and, most of all, smiles!
