Dignitaries gathered in Santa Ynez Friday for a ribbon cutting, barbecue and facility tour to celebrate the completion and grand opening of Harry’s House, a new 60-unit, low-income, senior residential community that is already fully occupied.

SANTA YNEZ, Calif. - The Golden Inn and Village in Santa Ynez has expanded to serve the elderly in the community with their affordable housing needs.

My heart is very full. On the first day of the long-awaited, very exciting opening of Harry’s House, I was privileged to be part of the welcoming of our first residents.

Fundraiser Supports Next Phase of Low-Income Senior Housing

The Rona Barrett Foundation Golden Inn & Village in Santa Ynez held a "Class of 2016" graduation ceremony for its original residents on June 17 to celebrate its fifth anniversary since opening.

Nineteen residents at the Golden Inn & Village were thrown a graduation ceremony of their own Friday to mark five years since the housing facility opened its doors and welcomed the senior group.

Tony Morris has been appointed Executive Director of the Rona Barrett Foundation, a nonprofit that provides affordable housing and wellness services for low-income senior citizens. Rona Barrett, founder and CEO of the organization, made the announcement after the most recent meeting of its Board of Trustees.
